Shrouded Secrets & Harden Stones
The Knight & The Moth for a local book club and damn, it grabbed me by the lapels and swung me around like Miss Trunchbull did to that poor girl. While this wasn’t the first book I’ve read where an oppressive religion ruled over its people, it is the first to have the structure that…

A Key & The Right Tyde
I found Of the Stars & Sea to be a diamond in a haystack. It was a refreshing fantasy read, as it deviated from the fae hype and delved into the world of pirates and treasure hunting. I loved the romance and banter! I was kicking my feet at times. The worldbuilding was moderately immersive,…

Rebel Heists & Animal Souls
This one was a tough, tough read due to the extent of Mancella’s power. I spent a lot of this read sobbing; that being said, I do recommend it. I enjoyed the lore and worldbuilding of the story.

Emerald Crowns & Poisoned Minds
Fearless, the conclusion to Lauren Roberts’ Powerless Trilogy, ripped my heart out at least four times, collected my tears in a jar, sewed me back together, gently kissed my cheek as it ended, and left me with a two-month-long book hangover. 10/10 would recommend.

Winged Vamps & Hidden Heirs
The Serpent and the Wings of Night wrecked me. The last 30% of the book had me sobbing, yearning, and aching. The twists left me gasping, the banter had me laughing, and the ending had me begging for more.

Witch Masks & Gory Summers
Two Sides To Every Murder was a five-star read for me, and I will never stop recommending it along with How To Survive Your Murder! I loved the vibe, the characters, the twists and turns, and loved the ending! The epilogue closed up loose ends while opening the door to a sequel. Such a divine…

Pheromones & Feral Blood Lust
Zoo was a lackluster read for me. The plot was two-dimensional with little character development. In this case, the TV show was much better than the novel. Honestly, I don’t have much to say besides the fact that I was disappointed.
-

Broken Hearts & Love Spells
Once Upon A Broken Heart was a quick five-star read for me that left me enchanted and wanting. The worldbuilding provided an elegance that matched fairytales and a female protagonist who gave off naive damsel in distress vibes, who inevitably got involved with a morally grey immortal.

Dead Girls & Pretty Liars
After watching a good part of the Pretty Little Liars television series, I wanted to give the book series a try. Honestly, I was disappointed. I thought they dramatized the story for TV, but nope, it was equally as dramatic.
