Indecisions & Fan Fiction
Vampire Diaries meets Twilight in Britney S. Lewis’s Blood Moon — an ode to the unfairly treated Bonnie Bennett. If you’re looking for dark academia, a smart-witted main female character, and a yearning love triangle then look no further! Spend the weekend learning the folklore behind Timber Plains and Lakeland University!

Poetry & Fate
Laura Stevens’s Our Infinite Fates is a soul-aching novel about a love that transcends time, anatomy, and death. Evelyn and Arden were cursed a millennium ago to kill one another before their eighteenth birthday. Their story will live inside your soul and fill you with a yearning for something unattainable.

Fated Stars & Cruel Tyrants
Heavenly Bodies was a pleasure to read. Have you ever felt honored to read a book? Cause that’s how I felt reading it. It’s a story that sticks with you, it buries itself deep in your soul, and heals something within you. I wish that I read Heavenly Bodies sooner!

Red Snow & Headless Bodies
Darcy Coates’s Dead of Winter was the perfect winter slasher! The story followed a group of hikers after a storm left them stranded in a nearby cabin. Things take a deadly turn after they find their tour guide brutally slain and decapitated the next morning. I ate this book up!

A Lost Fae Princess & A Draco-Coded Vampire Prince
On Wings of Blood was a decadent read that grabbed me by the ear and dragged me through the plotline’s turmoil before it booted me onto my ass as I frantically scrambled to purchase the sequel. Its filled with jealous, possessive vampires, banter, combat & conflict, and a world so twisted.

Scottish Werewolves & A Stubborn Princess
The Wolf King was an enjoyable and spicy read filled with jaw-dropping banter, an immersive castle setting, and a romance that had me holding my breath and sighing dreamily. ACOTAR meets Blood & Chocolate. I felt as if I were reading a sped-up version of ACOTAR, but with werewolves replacing fae.

A Cursed Immortal & A Broken Pendant
Until The World Falls Down was a captivating, spicy romantasy written for the hopeless romantics who want a love that transcends time and curses. The atmosphere was like jumping down the rabbit hole and experiencing interactions you never thought of before. 10 out of 10 recommend. I loved this book.

A War College & A Hot Professor
Crown of Light & Shadows was captivating. Every chapter was filled with angst, lore, and an academic vibe I can only attribute to Hogwarts. It’s a little lighter than Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros, but it scratches that itch for more than it leaves behind. I’m excited to read the sequels.

Shadows & One Hot Nightmare
Sweet Nightmare’s plot and lore were interesting… Think The Originals meets The Shadow Court of ACOTAR. It left so many unanswered questions! It is a series, so fortunately, that’s not a con of this book. What happened to Clementine’s mother? How is Henri? Why was he imprisoned? I’m ready for book 2, please.

Corporate Espionage & Pretty Bartenders
Ana Huang has done it again! Weaving a relationship between two distinct Asian cultures, King of Pride followed Isabella Valencia, a punk Filipina bartender, and Kai Young, a tightly wound Chinese CEO, as they navigated the challenges of their relationship, as well as their own dilemmas. Can’t wait to finish the series!
