Darcy Coates’s Dead of Winter was the perfect winter slasher! The story followed a group of hikers after a storm left them stranded in a nearby cabin. Things take a deadly turn after they find their tour guide brutally slain and decapitated the next morning. I ate this book up!

Craven Manor was a fun read! I’ve learned that I enjoy Darcy Coates’ stories, even the cliché ones. They’re quick and give the exact vibes I look for when going into each book. This one followed a man, Daniel, who was down on his luck and got a random job offer. A strange letter showed…

Tastes Like Candy 2: Sugarless was an amusing and intriguing read… I found the split parts incredibly interesting. I especially enjoyed the way Tholen showed Dusty’s, our MC of part 1, descent into a full-blown psychopath, as well as the way an outside influence can play a role in that fall.

Out of all the slashers I’ve read, Most Likely To Die was one of the ones with the highest body count. This killer slashed his way through THIRTEEN people. Absolutely savage. Most Likely To Die was a gory, thrilling, and glorious ride. I loved the surprise ending and that the bullies got their punishments.

There’s No Way I’d Die First was underrated; I happened to love this plot, the kill scenes, the ending, and all the references! I loved the shitty people who got slaughtered, and I loved the main character and her thought process through all this horror. 10/10 would recommend to slasher lovers!
