Winged Vamps & Hidden Heirs
The Serpent and the Wings of Night wrecked me. The last 30% of the book had me sobbing, yearning, and aching. The twists left me gasping, the banter had me laughing, and the ending had me begging for more.

Pirates & Vendettas
If Captain Jack Sparrow still graces your wet dreams, then you should probably read this. And by probably, I mean get up and go get it!

Hellish Princes & Warring Theologies
The Deer And The Dragon was pushed onto me by the B&N employees (they got me, what can I say? I’m weak) and it was worth the guilt to people please a stranger. It was rich in plot, lore, worldbuilding, sexual exploration/expression, and perfected with witty banter. My kinda read.

Dark Fairytales & Asylum Girls
The Never King was a kinky Peter Pan and the Lost Boys retelling, except this time Peter Pan was the villain. It was the perfect palette cleanser in between several dense reads. It satiated the craving for fantasy without exhausting you. Keeping you hooked and bothered enough to read on.

Masks & Smutty Filth
Evil Boys was absolutely filthy, and I loved it. Evil Boys was 100% smut with a sprinkle of plot. The whole mafia and killing gang plotline was interesting, but honestly, I only endured it for Kai. There were a few scenes where it was a little tough for me to right. Check TWs.

Childhood Love & Chaotic Devotion
I enjoyed Skin of a Sinner; it was the perfect dark romance to cleanse my palette in between reads. The conflict of wanting and not wanting a Roman Riviera in my life is intensely real. Definitely one of those type of men who only make it in a fake universe.

Blackmail & Arranged Marriages
Ana Huang’s King of Wrath was not only an immensely enjoyable read, but also eye-opening when it comes to the family dynamic within Chinese and Asian culture. While I found the views of women archaic and infuriating, I’ve also discovered a newfound respect for women in these cultures and dynamics. 4/5 Recommend.

Valkyries & Chocolate on Demand
The majority of A Court of Silver Flames focused on Nesta’s healing journey as she came to terms with her new immortality, and her father’s death. Throughout the story, my feelings about Nesta were conflicting. I understood her sadness and her anger; just not her cruelty. Her character development was rewarding, though.

Spain & The Slowest Burn
A Spanish Love Deception was most definitely another BookTok deception. I feel betrayed, bamboozled, and hoodwinked. I don’t mind a fluffy cozy romance, but for the love of all things good and sinful, THIS IS NOT A SPICY NOVEL TF. If I wasn’t misled, I’d have given a better rating.
