Poetry & Fate
Laura Stevens’s Our Infinite Fates is a soul-aching novel about a love that transcends time, anatomy, and death. Evelyn and Arden were cursed a millennium ago to kill one another before their eighteenth birthday. Their story will live inside your soul and fill you with a yearning for something unattainable.

Whatcha Reading Wednesday
Lately, I’ve been on a romantasy kick so I wanted to mix it up! Having already read another slasher today, I am currently reading Joelle Wellington’s The Blonde Dies First! I started this a few months ago but got caught up in another book, I’m so excited to restart it!

Drunk Driving & Consequences
Lois Duncan’s I Know What You Did Last Summer in preparation for watching the reboot with my sibling. Honestly? I was disappointed; however, I attribute this to having watched the film first. While I can appreciate a good psychological thriller, I am human, so this was a meh for me.

Rebel Heists & Animal Souls
This one was a tough, tough read due to the extent of Mancella’s power. I spent a lot of this read sobbing; that being said, I do recommend it. I enjoyed the lore and worldbuilding of the story.

Emerald Crowns & Poisoned Minds
Fearless, the conclusion to Lauren Roberts’ Powerless Trilogy, ripped my heart out at least four times, collected my tears in a jar, sewed me back together, gently kissed my cheek as it ended, and left me with a two-month-long book hangover. 10/10 would recommend.

Witch Masks & Gory Summers
Two Sides To Every Murder was a five-star read for me, and I will never stop recommending it along with How To Survive Your Murder! I loved the vibe, the characters, the twists and turns, and loved the ending! The epilogue closed up loose ends while opening the door to a sequel. Such a divine…

Broken Hearts & Love Spells
Once Upon A Broken Heart was a quick five-star read for me that left me enchanted and wanting. The worldbuilding provided an elegance that matched fairytales and a female protagonist who gave off naive damsel in distress vibes, who inevitably got involved with a morally grey immortal.

Dead Girls & Pretty Liars
After watching a good part of the Pretty Little Liars television series, I wanted to give the book series a try. Honestly, I was disappointed. I thought they dramatized the story for TV, but nope, it was equally as dramatic.

A Summer Rental & A Bloody Revenge
Summer Rental was a summertime slasher set in Palm Key, Florida, where six teens go out to the beach for one last hoorah. A hurricane had other plans for their weekend, and they became trapped inside with a stalker lurking around.

Shadows & One Hot Nightmare
Sweet Nightmare’s plot and lore were interesting… Think The Originals meets The Shadow Court of ACOTAR. It left so many unanswered questions! It is a series, so fortunately, that’s not a con of this book. What happened to Clementine’s mother? How is Henri? Why was he imprisoned? I’m ready for book 2, please.
