Conspiracy Theories & Hidden Heirs
House of Sky and Breath left me in such a book hangover that it’s taken me MONTHS to finally get to my review! House of Sky and Breath was rich with action, secrets, conspiracies, and romance that I got completely immersed in the storyline. I honestly can’t rave about this book enough!

Clowns & Petty Revenge: Take Two
One year after the events of Clown In A Cornfield, Quinn is now in college, trying desperately to put the past events behind her and move on. But we’re here, so her plan failed miserably. Since the murders, the media had twisted the story and made the kids the villains.

Mean-ager vs. Employees
Honestly, I was disappointed. I loved the concept of the plot but felt that the potential it had was completely ignored. We know who the killer is right off the bat, which I’m not a fan of. It doesn’t leave much room for suspense so that banked on their escape.

Love Notes & Bleeding Hearts
You Will Be Mine was a four-star one for me! It was fast-paced, engaging, gory, and filled with suspense. I felt the main characters could’ve taken better precautions when it came to protecting themselves, but hey, how else would we have a story? 4/5 would recommend to a slasher lover.

Ashes & Demons
The Lake House was an okay read. Something to listen to as I did chores and during my commute. This novel wasn’t a true slasher. I’d say it’s more of a paranormal/psychological thriller. Two-thirds of the novel was the characters moving around the island and while fending off the wilderness.

Dark Fantasies & Masked Men
Since this was only a 122-page book, Scream For Us didn’t have a tremendous amount of character development. We get a little more background on Quinn and her past, mainly because we’re in her head, but almost nothing about the guys. The plot was pretty much straight smut. 5/5 recommend.

Shadows & Lilies
Death’s Obsession followed Lilith, a young woman who recently had a close encounter with death when she was in a massive car accident that took the life of her twin sister, Dahlia. After swearing she saw Death at the accident, she began seeing a figure she called “the faceless man.”

All Bruises, Covered in Makeup
Aleatha Romig’s book, Consequences, followed a twenty-six-year-old woman named Claire who recently lost her job as a meteorologist and was struggling with debt. After she found work as a bartender, she met a mysterious man named Anthony, who coaxed her into joining him for dinner after her shift.

Is Too Much Sex Ever Too Much?
I rarely rate books less than 4 stars, so this is an anomaly for me. Loving anything that is based on Beauty and the Beast, I was disappointed with the way things turned out in this book. There were a lot of plot holes, and the book was very rushed.

Pretty Lies & Steel Blue Eyes
I loved Sparrow (both the character and the Book.) The character was a badass chick who went head-to-head with Troy despite her fear and knowledge of his reputation. Sparrow was a great novel. Great plot build, character development, and emotion. I couldn’t put it down finished it in 2 hours!
