Conspiracy Theories & Hidden Heirs
House of Sky and Breath left me in such a book hangover that it’s taken me MONTHS to finally get to my review! House of Sky and Breath was rich with action, secrets, conspiracies, and romance that I got completely immersed in the storyline. I honestly can’t rave about this book enough!

Luxury Trips & An Unwanted Stalker
Twisted Lies was a great conclusion to the series and a great intro to Huang’s new series, Kings of Sin. Christian and Stella’s love story was a great read. I enjoyed learning about their traumas and how they overcame everything for one another. Can’t wait to read King of Wrath!

Hate & Theft
I enjoyed Twisted Hate. The spicy scenes were top-tier. I also enjoyed that Huang didn’t end the book with the heroine and the hero getting married. They were together, but they both decided to take it slow. It was a nice change. 5/5 would recommend to those who love enemies-to-lovers.

Tentacles & No Thanks
Honeysuckles by January Rayne wasn’t my cup of tea. I wasn’t crazy about the plot/creature, but from a writing perspective, it was well written. The spice was good (until the author reminded us that his dick was purple and red with suckers. Send help. This image won’t leave my brain.)

Dark Fantasies & Masked Men
Since this was only a 122-page book, Scream For Us didn’t have a tremendous amount of character development. We get a little more background on Quinn and her past, mainly because we’re in her head, but almost nothing about the guys. The plot was pretty much straight smut. 5/5 recommend.

Soft Curves & Sharp Arrows
Between Wrath & Mercy was probably one of my favorite Romantasy novels as an adult. While it is a long read, I was captivated by the plot and the world-building. Jess Wisecup keeps you engaged by not revealing the character’s past all at once; you only get snippets of it throughout.

Is Too Much Sex Ever Too Much?
I rarely rate books less than 4 stars, so this is an anomaly for me. Loving anything that is based on Beauty and the Beast, I was disappointed with the way things turned out in this book. There were a lot of plot holes, and the book was very rushed.

Welcome to Emberfall
Brigid Kemmerer’s A Curse So Dark and Lonely was a modern retelling of Beauty and the Beast with a very different twist than the story we all know and love. Although set in the present, we were transported to a world filled with magic and mystery. I love a good fairytale retelling.
