Icy Banter & Liquid Courage
I enjoyed Hannah Grace’s Icebreaker. Very fluffy. The one issue I had was that this book definitely could’ve been 100 pages shorter. There were quite a few filler chapters and scenes that didn’t contribute much to the plot. Maybe a little too much on the character development. 4/5 would recommend.

Veiled Lies & Daggered Maidens
From Blood & Ash was a fast-paced romantasy filled with an oppressive, religious-fueled government, a false chosen one, and forbidden romance that’ll leave you yearning for more. The indepth and immersive world-building to help even out the romance and banter. The atmosphere and characters that Armentrout built were amazing and infuriating.

Soft Curves & Sharp Arrows
Between Wrath & Mercy was probably one of my favorite Romantasy novels as an adult. While it is a long read, I was captivated by the plot and the world-building. Jess Wisecup keeps you engaged by not revealing the character’s past all at once; you only get snippets of it throughout.

Goddess Vs. Princess
Wendy Higgins’ Soul In Darkness is a book that will leave you with withdrawals. After reading the last page, I sat there for a few minutes more and just took it all in. It had such a happy ending and was just so incredibly well-written. I want to re-read already!!

Molly O’Keefe’s The Tycoon follows Veronica King, a twenty-eight-year-old woman, whose father just passed away, leaving her with nothing. Daughter of the CEO of King Industries, Veronica was engaged to be married five years prior, until the night before her wedding, when she discovered her fiancé was only marrying her for money.

All Bruises, Covered in Makeup
Aleatha Romig’s book, Consequences, followed a twenty-six-year-old woman named Claire who recently lost her job as a meteorologist and was struggling with debt. After she found work as a bartender, she met a mysterious man named Anthony, who coaxed her into joining him for dinner after her shift.

Is Too Much Sex Ever Too Much?
I rarely rate books less than 4 stars, so this is an anomaly for me. Loving anything that is based on Beauty and the Beast, I was disappointed with the way things turned out in this book. There were a lot of plot holes, and the book was very rushed.

Into the Buffyverse
Kiersten White’s Slayer dived into the world of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and followed Athena, daughter of Buffy’s first Watcher, as she dealt with the implications of being a Slayer. Set shortly after the TV show’s series finale, White re-exposed the world to the Buffyverse from a whole new perspective. Decent read.

Pretty Lies & Steel Blue Eyes
I loved Sparrow (both the character and the Book.) The character was a badass chick who went head-to-head with Troy despite her fear and knowledge of his reputation. Sparrow was a great novel. Great plot build, character development, and emotion. I couldn’t put it down finished it in 2 hours!
